Join us this weekend (10/17-10/19) for the Barro Vermelho Batizado — a 3-day celebration of movement, rhythm, and community as we honor our students’ capoeira journey!

Mestre Bomba cordially invites the general public and all capoeiristas in the DC metro area to join us for our annual batizado celebration!

The batizado marks a special milestone — our students’ graduation ceremony — honoring their dedication, growth, and continued journey in capoeira.

These incredible mestres will be sharing their lifelong knowledge of capoeira — including movements, techniques, philosophies, and the vibrant music that connects us all.
